Overview

In Vedic astrology the twelve signs are grouped by their Tatwa (element): Fire, Earth, Air and Water. These come from the Pancha Bhootas (five elements); the fifth, Space (Akasha), is said to be present in everything. Knowing a sign's element quickly tells you the basic temperament it carries.వేద జ్యోతిష్యంలో పన్నెండు రాశులను వాటి తత్వం ఆధారంగా నాలుగు గ్రూపులుగా విభజిస్తారు: అగ్ని, భూమి, వాయువు, జలం. ఇవి పంచభూతాల నుండి వచ్చాయి; ఐదవది అయిన ఆకాశం (ఆకాశ తత్వం) అన్నింటిలోనూ ఉంటుందని చెబుతారు. ఒక రాశి ఏ తత్వానికి చెందుతుందో తెలిస్తే, ఆ రాశి మౌలిక స్వభావం వెంటనే అర్థమవుతుంది.
