Overview

Mercury (Budha) is the planet of intellect and communication — the yukti (cleverness) that turns raw effort into real success. In the kingdom of the zodiac, if the Sun is the king and the Moon is the queen, Mercury is the sharp young prince (yuvaraja): he runs the kingdom's production house (Gemini) and its marketing and distribution (Virgo).
