Twelve Houses (Bhavas)

Overview

The twelve houses, or bhavas, are the twelve divisions of the horoscope counted from the ascendant (lagna). Each house governs specific areas of life — from body and wealth to career, marriage and liberation — so together they map a person's whole life journey.
