Overview

Every planet 'signifies' a fixed set of matters, people and body parts — this is its Karakatwa. But why, of all the grahas, is the Sun crowned the 'King of Planets'? There is a beautiful logic behind it: the Sun is the only self-luminous body in the sky. Every other planet merely reflects the Sun's light — without the Sun there is only darkness, and no planet can send its effect to the Earth.
