A Janam Kundali is a snapshot of the planets in the sky at your exact time and place of birth, with the birth moment fixing your Lagna (Ascendant). Reading it has a fixed order: start with the Lagna, then the Moon sign and star, then planets in the houses, then planetary strength, then yogas, and finally the Dasha for timing.
