What is Yoni Kuta?
Yoni Kuta assesses sexual and biological compatibility between partners. Each of the 27 nakshatras is assigned one of 14 animal symbols (yoni), with each nakshatra being either the male or female of its animal. The score depends on how the two partners' animal symbols relate to each other — friend, neutral, or enemy.
Maximum Score: 4 — awarded when both partners share the same animal yoni (one male, one female of that animal), indicating the deepest physical compatibility.

Significance
Yoni Kuta primarily speaks to physical attraction, sexual compatibility, and the natural instinctive bond between partners. It reflects whether the couple shares an inherent biological rhythm. Enemy yoni pairs are said to produce physical repulsion or friction in the intimate aspects of marriage, even if other kutas are favorable.
Modern context: At 4 of 36 points, Yoni Kuta carries moderate weight. Many astrologers consider it especially important for younger couples and weigh it alongside Nadi (8 pts) and Gana (6 pts) when assessing overall compatibility.
