Mudda Dasha takes the running Vimshottari Mahadasha lord at the time of birth as its starting planet and runs all nine Vimshottari planets through the solar year in proportional durations.
The total of the year's Mudda Dasha is exactly 360 days (one Tajik year). Each planet's slice is its Vimshottari weight scaled by 360/120 — three days per Vimshottari year. So Sun gets 18 days, Moon 30, Mars 21, Rahu 54, Jupiter 48, Saturn 57, Mercury 51, Ketu 21 and Venus 60, summing to the 360-day Tajik year.
