How Sub Periods Are Constructed
Inside a Major Char Dasha sign, the sub-dasha sequence begins from the Major sign itself and proceeds in the same direction as the Major cycle — zodiacal for odd-sign starts and anti-zodiacal for even-sign starts. Each of the twelve signs receives a share of the parent period proportional to its own Char Dasha years in the chart, so the sub-period lengths reflect the same lord-placement logic that produced the Major durations.
For example, a 9-year Major Char Dasha of Taurus will be split into twelve sub-periods, each scaled to that 9-year window.
