Khavedamsha (D40) Varga Chart is one of the sixteen main vargas (divisions of a sign) described by Parasara Maharshi. Parasara states that legacy of maternal family of the person, purva doshas, pitru doshas, and etc is to be judged from the Khavedamsha occupied by planets.
Every varga chart have certain purpose to read detailed level. Khavedamsha not only about parents, it’s mainly about 4th house. It also indicates relationship with mother, maternal side relationships, how we connect to them, luck, badluck, doshas, purva papa, relationship we can predict.
In the above video I explained how easily we can read and understand varga chart. One basic and simple rule is D40 ascendant lord must not be placed in 6,8,12 houses, Karaka for father is Sun, and Karaka for mother is Moon. He should be stronger then related matters will be good. You need to consider current dasha and 4th house lord of D1 & D40 how placed verify it then we can judge properly.
